The Sled Dogs Need Your help - NOW!

Last year, we gave our support to help bring justice for the dogs that lost their lives in British Columbia, Canada. ISF and our amazing supporters, adults and kids, worked hard to help sled dogs living there to receive more rights. Click HERE to read our previous article and learn about the impact that ISF and YOU really had on these dogs.

 BUT these innocent dogs are still in trouble. The businesses using sled dogs are not making very much money anymore. Because of this, many times the dogs are the ones to pay the price. The owners of sled dogs are still allowed to kill their dogs, no matter what the reason is and even if there is no reason at all. Because of this, so many healthy and loving dogs are losing their lives. Even if a dog cannot be a sled dog anymore or if their owners don’t have enough money, the dog should be able to be adopted and given a chance to find another home. Instead, the sad truth is that most of these dogs, even puppies, are losing their lives.

So what are we going to do? What are the kids of ISF going to do?

First, we are making a petition. This petition is for kids, too! So you can sign it and stand up for the voiceless. We are creating the petition now, so watch our official Twitter @ISFKIDS for updates.

Second, Let’s make a video!
Here is our idea. We need kids – every single one of you – to draw us a picture. What kind of picture could you draw that will help these dogs? How can you encourage people to let these dogs be adopted and loved? Then, we want to hear your voices, your opinions and your solutions. Have a parent record your voice. Tell the world if you think that these dogs’ lives are worth living. We are making a video to show EVERYONE. We will put your voice to play while your drawing is shown. This video is to prove to the world that kids care, kids can be powerful and kids will make a difference.
