ISF has acquired just under 100 acres of land on the bayou in Louisiana with the desire to create an animal sanctuary and preserve. A place for young people, and everyone, to learn about this vital ecosystem, our environment and the effect we all have on it.
Roughly 70 acres of the Sanctuary is preserved bayou land that will continue to be protected and to flourish as a natural habitat for wildlife and plant life. The remaining acreage will be utilized in support of the creature population, youth and community needs.
ISF is currently working with a surveyor and an attorney in Louisiana to obtain approval of our Revised Plat and to record a Surveyor’s Act of Correction to relocate the access road to the property. Relocating this road will dramatically reduce costs and it is estimated that this matter can be resolved within the next 60 days.
