We are living in a world where the word “makeup” is truly well known. We want to look good, but we still don't pay attention to our own natural beauty. A few months ago, I decided to switch to a makeup-free choice. When I was younger, I was wearing a lot of makeup on my skin, and it was NOT me. In my soul I was NEVER this girl. I always felt so uncomfortable and nervous when I had to wear makeup, mainly because I knew that this choice was not the right one for me. I have one opinion that if you feel uncomfortable with makeup, it is not the real YOU. But here is the main problem—I didn't care too much about WHAT I used, and that was the biggest mistake.
Roughly two years ago, when my skin started to be a little bit problematic, my mom bought a product which should’ve made my skin more beautiful. It did so, but then I discovered that it is tested on animals. This made me really sad and mad at once. The best thing you can do is to always search for eco-friendly and cruelty-free products. After this bad experience I found many more (and simple) different ways to how I can care about my skin as well as products that are not only good for me, but MAINLY good and friendly to our environment and our creatures. But if we are only talking about makeup, there is something easier –show yourself in your real light! Being totally without makeup means showing who really you are and that you are not afraid of it.
But it also means creating a greener choice when it comes to our environment. That's why I decided to be makeup-free, because I wanted to feel good in my own skin and to protect our environment. And now, I want to encourage you to do the same. You should see yourself as beautiful as you are, because you are. So let's take it as a new challenge. Maybe you take it as a new challenge for your new school year and encourage others to try it too! A lot of people think that they can't be without makeup, but that's not true. I have one important question–Do you love yourself? Because you totally should! Let's love yourself without wearing any makeup. Share your own photo, where you would be totally makeup-free! (as I did).
